People's Republic of Disco is BACK!! September 29th

So come on then! It is this Saturday after all, let's all start getting excited :D I realise most of you are jaded old timers, but this PROD newbie is already developing a 7" callus from flicking through the record stack so many times.

Dub: will you have one of those record middles? One of the tunes I want to bring has no inner bit.

I dont think I can make this one...my family are pissed off that i havent made time for them on my birthday weekend so I'm going to do something with them on the sat...unless I get my bro to drive me there afterwards! yes! :)

I know none of you believe me but I'm totally coming. Not only that it's my official birthday haps so I'm bringing lots of PRoD newbies too.

i might have to go clothes shopping on saturday if i'm coming out to PRoD. FFS.

An' me...especially since it's my birthday, pay day, end of a vile job etc. I already have something held back for me at Bond

I might be able to get up for this at the weekend, although it's a bit short notice to arrange accomodations, now. I'm off work from Thursday for 10 days, so we'll see.

*pulls strings*

How do you get your music played at Prod? The last one I came to was a NYE one a few years back and that was spoilt by the ex having a strop and I've lost touch with what the procedure is.

I'm officially without duties at this one because I won't actually be there til about 1am :D

If this is the case, I might actually come along for the early part of the evening :D

you bring two tunes - vinyl or CD. you give them to us, we hand you a cloakroom ticket. We pull the ticket and your tunes gets played, hopefully. Then at the end you give us your ticket in exchange for your tunes.

foolproof. That's why we allow Snoddy to do it

Do the tunes have to be singles or can we put albums in and say what track we want playing on the front somewhere? I dont have any singles! (well, I dont actually have any decent music, but thats the besides the point :o )

Cheers Dub. I'll plunder my hard drive of eclectic music tomorrow night and make up a cd of two tunes.

albums are fine - you fill out a little sticker with track titles. We have been doing this QUITE a long time, you know :p
