Yeah as Orang says below they've all been in loads of bands.

I really like the Thurston Moore solo album Psychic Hearts actually. It's full of stuff like the Youth but a bit more structured, and surprisingly catchy and easy to get into, yet still with that Youth distortedness. Underrated.

kevin shields - my bloody valentine/primal scream.
evan dando - lemonheads/oasis(playing tamborine :D)

...pete doherty? ;)

I can't be the first to suggest Bill Drummond can I ? He was in fuck loads of bands !

Which takes us to Budgie from Big In Japan who was also in The Creatures and Siouxsie & The Banshees

Siouxsie and the Banshees also had John Mcgeogh who was in Magazine with Barry Adamson

Barry Adamson was in Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds which also featured Mick Harvey

Mick Harvey was in The Birthday Party with Nick Cave which takes us back to Nick Cave and the Bad seeds who incidentally alos featured Kid Congo Powers who played with the Cramps

The Cramps also had Jim Sclavunos with them at one point . He also played with Sonic Youth

and to be honest I'm bored now but I could go on and on all thanks to that link from OU  bastard !

It's fun innit?

I've just gone down the route of sonic youth - dim stars - Richard Hell and the Voidoids - Misfits - Black Flag - Lemonheads - Decesdants then I got stuck with people who have been in 2 good bands :(

And for the last time, no you can't include solo shit.

Nope, not really. Some of Matt Willis' stuff has been alright but that is solo and not as good as SoD anyway.

Dave Stewart - The Tourists and The Eurythmics

Siobhan Fahey - Bananarama and Shakespeare's Sister.

Oh, hang on - think I've misunderstood the question :o
