Tis nice to walk to work, clears your head and you get used to it. Hope you doing alright

Oldfield park. If you start at your old place and keep walking uphill for 10 minutes you're there. It's quite near the rising sun I think. And the royal oak is downhill all the way but uphill all the way back

I may have to start frequenting the velo lounge with my new found taste in furniture and fittings.

Alright chuck My brother is living very near you-be warned I would rent it asap-don't worry too much about credit checks-there is such a glut of buy to letters that landlords are getting desperate-do mention it first though as if they refuse you, some places can charge for the privilege-cash upfront might help?

It's about 3 or 4 yeasr old I think.

Anyway, I told them up front when I paid my holding deposit and they were fine about it. If it stops my application they told me I'll get my money back. (probably minus 50 quid or something, but meh).

So YAY, I could be moving at the weekend!

Fancy pants 'grown up' house here I come.

Well, thanks in part to the brilliant people of urban I'm now installed in my new house.

And OMG is it a great feeling.

I forgot just how nice the place was. Everything in it is top quality, from the fireplaces to the shower to the kitchen. It all just works. Even things like broadband have been made super easy as they've already got cable installed. I'll be back online by wednesday. Orange would have taken 3 weeks.

Had my first BBQ of many last night and watched the sun set over the top of my house. I'm off in a minute to buy some rosemary and sage to put down in the ready dug over border between my lawn and patio. Lil fraction is going to love the garden

It's the kind of place other peoples parents live in. Life is good.

Aw, congratulations

I know the extra distance is a bit of a pain but as has been said if you're on a bus route it's not so bad, and when you consider the amount of time you spend living, as opposed to moving from one place to another Im sure you'll find the benefits outweigh the drawbacks to the point where you forget that there were any.

You can't beat being happy about where you live, imo.
