Penzance and area: chat, things to do and more

It's called Frazers now and they are open Sundays. Easiest way to find them Elpenor is to walk along the prom until you see the arcade. They're next door. The chips were nice last time we had some back in the summer.
Pirates rest is a different place, at the bottom end of queen street, I drove past it earlier but didn’t have time to check opening days.
Exciting news though, I bumped into some friends who had just been for a Jelberts. Which means they’re open, hoorah!

Course. That used to be called something else too. Closed Sundays. My son used to live almost opposite.

It has become a little damp but it was sunny on the train down at least :D

Still I’ve had a nice wander around and picked up some stuff in the charity shops. Also amused to find that the gold post box is for someone I nearly went on a date with once

Missed out on fish and chips as didn’t fancy them in the rain then got here to find they had just finished food. Shame and think I’m going to have to grab a sandwich or something on the way back to the station. Still enjoying a pint after my walk.

The Benbow?

Yeah, was very quiet but thought it was worth a visit for the decor and to be out of the rain
That sounds a bit underwhelming; hope the film was worth the visit
If you come down again me and the dog would be up for a visit to tremenhere sculpture garden. I’ve had lunch and bought plants there but never actually walked round the gardens.

It was worth the visit! I go to Teignmouth sometimes as it is my nearest bit of seaside, and it was a similar “Every day is like Sunday” vibe, I don’t mind it being quiet if I’m honest as I probably wouldn’t want to visit when it’s bustling.

The sculpture garden would be nice, I enjoyed my afternoon exploring and very cheap on the train with my railcard :)

Yeah, I like touristy towns when they’re in their down time too, and I’m glad PZ was worth the visit.
I’ve been meaning to do the sculpture garden for a few years, and have had tentative dates with a couple friends who also haven’t been, for some time, so looking forward to going whenever I get round to it
