Pendulum: OMFG; so late to the party

Pendulum used the d'n'b scene to move into the mainstream. I think Rob Swire has actually admitted this. They are just a shite emo band now.

You can't put Pendulum and d'n'b in the same sentance. Their early stuff was'nt bad but they really went downhill when they released HYC and the next album was abysmal. Really fucking abysmal. The latest album still uses the same snare drum track they have rehashed for the past five years. Some of their tunes are laughable.

Tarantula's alright, the Voodoo people remix would be alright if they'd kept it to 2 mins instead of making a 2 minute track run for 4 minutes (or so)...other than that MOR rock band with a drum machine & synth. Fair play to them for what they've done, but pretty much agree with cantsin - not D&B, have added nothing to the genre.

I think that's actually Diplo, he produced evil boy. I'm sure he doesn't normally look like such a gimp though....

though a quick google image search reveals that there are in fact very few pictures where he doesn't look like a bit of a gimp. Incredibly talented producer though - shits all over pendulum...
