Don't do what I did!! Make sure you get a self pollinating one or you'll need two which are compatible

Right. Most of them need a polinator. I believe that Sekal pears are self-fertile. Just don't get one from Henry Fields. They send mine with the branch end wrapping in wet papertowels. Definitely wasn't a farm-kid that packaged that.
