Pavement to reform. Apparently

It's only pre-order sold out - ie those on the 02/Academy pre-sales list and that's approx 30% of the legal capacity (last I heard)

On the phone to ticketmaster maybe? :hmm:

I'll call tomorrow and see :D

It's not going on sale on the TM system though its only on Ticketweb so it wouldn't work. I reckon your best off trying online too though to have the best chance of getting tickets.

edit: I don't know why I am discussing it, I am jealous because I can't afford to come up to London to see it :D

Buuuuuut, it's on their 'sister site' so they say, so maaaaaybe they can do it over the phone.

I can't afford it either unless I can use this voucher :D

They definitely won't be able to use your gift card, they use different systems. Hope you get something sorted :)

Because they rule and a lot of people never got to see them. I have about 10 times and I'll still be hitting F5 frantically tomorrow :D

i saw Pavement a bunch of times, and they were great. I'm sure I've confused two gigs but did they play with some combination of Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine and Huggy Bear once at the Academy?

no interest in seeing them now though

I for one would love to see them, I didn't get the chance when they were about!

I'm sure i'd love to see them again too but it just seems to be completely in opposition to what they were about, also the gradual dissolving into the singer and his band that took place - it's hard to see them getting around that. which i'd think woulld be uncomfortable.
y' never know maybe they'll stick with it and make another great record too - what the hell do I know :D

Yeah something like that....Huggy Bear def played on UK dates with them at some point. Wasn't MBV on the Mudhoney UK tour  actually I may be confusing that with a different gig altogether fucking old age..grrr..

They supported Sonic Youth on the Dirty tour although they were probably big enough to do the same venues themselves by that point - that sounds like an end of tour knees up there.

Fuck me, sold out already - started at 9am

Edit: - got some from Gigantic.com

Gits had em on ebay for 150 for 2 already

I was thinking "should i give up or should i just keep chasing Pavement tickets, even if it leads nowhere"

But got em in the end.

As soon as it was 9 them sold out sites had them at double face value - fucking touting cunts - they provide no useful service but just get in the way of fans wanting tickets - make me boil they do
