Paul Russell commands building of an indoor beach

The word of mouth, local radio, posters and fliers account for the majority of the people through the door.

What we do see is that people see a flier/poster, check on the web, talk to other people who have heard of us and then eventually turn up. There is no one thing that makes people turn up. It's awareness. The web presence is an important part. The fact that other curators are turning up is also good.

I might just sit on the roundabout that connects the Bath Rd (A4) to the M4 until I get arrested. There's no such thing as bad publicity.

The exhibition is listed in today's The Guardian's The Guide, p. 41.

Perhaps that will help...

Edit: I submitted the listing to the Press Association's listings, which is where the Guardian, The Independent, etc. seem to get their listings from.

Hopefully, it will be in some other newspapers' "What's on" guides as well.

Last day tomorrow. Anybody there after 6pm tomorrow can then watch me start to take the place down.

Anybody want any sand? Got plenty of it :D

What a lovely afternoon... thank you Robster and Delphian Sibyl.

Paul.. your photos are wonderful and the gallery was so well set up... chilling on a deckchair on a beach in the middle of Slough.. just what I needed on a Sunday afternoon

(sorry if I wasn't really with it :o)

(I think I left something in your car btw)

you did. thankfully we had some wet wipes so we cleaned the car out and have put it in a bin now.

seriously, pm me with your address and I'll post it to you.

What, a baby?

"Oh no, I left the baby on the bus again"
Biff postcard, circa 1980

That is careless. Probably use Royal Mail special delivery or something rather than the normal post. Especially in your neck of the woods.
