Blackburn's form has been right into relegation territory for ages, and Ince was doing nothing to change that, and the fans were right on his back, and it seems like he'd lost many of the players too. Ince's fate was harsh, that may not seem fair to some, but the Board had no choice IMO.

Macclesfield were a club he saved from relegation out of the league. They had absolutely no money and were pretty much certain to go down when he rocked up. MK Dons (scum that they are) are a club with decent resources and ambition. I don't think any Macc fans would call him a judas if and when he goes back there - he saved them and it was never likely he was gonna do a long shift there. The whole deal was mutually beneficial.
