Poor him, might be what he needs though those places can be a nightmare just hope he gets out and turns things around.
He didnt get the help when he was obviously suffering from mental problems and OCD all those years ago as a player. he was always erratic & prone to extremes , but this is serious.
He cant go anywhere without feeling the pressure ro perform by those around him in bars / clubs etc - like best, he doesnt ever have to buy a drink.

Didn't he see his best friend killed by a car when he was just a nipper? I really do feel for him. If only people would have realised he had something wrong with him when he was younger rather than just saying he's a clown.

The good thing about this is he has to improve if he ever wants tog et out.
He was escorted away calmly it says. Hardly total insanity. Why is it people have to go well and truly OTT in the UK before they get the help they need?

I am really quite sure that he assaulted me in a road rage attack in 1990/1991 near Kilburn. The fucker!
My assailant - who looked exactly like Mr Gascoigne - tried to cut in my exit at a roundabout, I didn't let him. He was driving a flashy white Toyota. Then he tried to do an insane overtaking move on the inside (this was in heavy traffic) and I accelerated to block him. Unsatisfied he then got out while we were stopped at the lights, opened my drivers door and then laid in. I didn't really know who gazza was at the time. I reported it to the police with the reg no. but nothing was done. I was really quite shaken up for a few days. e2a: a girl in his car shouted out 'Paul' to him and he was wearing flashy clothes as well.
I don't have too much sympathy for gazza's current plight I'm afraid.

So Gazza has now trod this path. I remember when Frank Bruno also did, Frank said later in an interview that two medical staff had to hold him down in the hospital so they could administer their injections. I thought you wimp Frank a big strapping man like you, not fighting back! it took four of em to hold me down and they were still all scared I would break free.
