Particularly irritating journeys..

It's not just about crap services from Brixton to SE London. SW to SE London is a real faff.

Even by road it's a faff getting anywhere SW to SE or vice versa, because the whole area is carved up by railway lines, so that any journey is zig zag zig zag all the way. Even the Scircular is a glorified zigzag.

Anywhere through Victoria Station at rush hour. It's filth, with the barriers and the sirens going off and the out-of-towners with their elbows

From Hackney to St James Park I get a bus to Liv St then the Circle Line to avoid the H&I/Victoria nightmare.

Yep, it is awful. I used to live in west norwood and travel to wimbledon for work.

An 8 to Chancery Lane and a quick stroll (or another bus) up Grays Inn Road?

Central Line one stop to Liverpool Street, then Circle Line four stops to King's Cross? Not that bad, is it?

Yes, yes... but fairly massive dog-legs (massive relative to Zone 2, that is). Not being near Bethnal Green tube, it's annoying to start off walking directly away from King's X...

Southgate to Golders Green. You'd think someone would give us Jews and hand there (or maybe they assume we all have volvos).
