I'm just chucking in a load, without really checking if they're blurred/need sharpening etc.
Cameramen and spectators
Big aaaaahs when this picture went up
and giggles with this one
Best medal ceremony. Visually impaired runners who were carried up to the podium by their guides
Think that's enough. That's only a few of them
I think that's the practice track below, which is good to see.
They're excellent Minnie. Thanks for sharing and improving the thread greatly. I knew you would have some excellent, high quality photos. I will post some but will probably be more of the park as the athletes in my pictures are likely to be a bit small.
Doesn't matter if they're small, stick them up!
I'm a bit disappointed in the lack of pictures here
Me with the Japanese seated volleyball team. I was soooooo chuffed!
Clare Balding got a HUUUUUUUUUGE cheer... as my friend said "National fucking Treasure"..
How/where did you meet them?
and where's your baby? Not in one of those bins I hope?
She was with us... my friend had her. We had lunch in Umai - the Japan Centre concession in Westfield and they were on the table next to us.
Wow! You got good seats! I'm guessing something like Blocks 114-117 or similar? Mid teens row?
She said she was near to tears after that
ah right. Never went into Westfield. Saw loads of athletes coming out of it though when we were on shuttle bus from Stratford Station
They were great! block 107... not sure what number but we were close to the front. But not so close we couldn't see the other side of the stadium. Brilliant!
ah, only 10 blocks out
and much closer than my row 25 so I expect more pictures
(The one with the lone Chinese athlete and the rings )
He was probably wondering if he was at the right races
Why didn't they replace the rings with the Agitos anyway?
eta: Oh, just noticed, the rings and the Agitos are on the track
Once again, fantastic pictures Minnie. I thought that the Aquatic centre was quite beautiful inside. Will be interested to see what the public version will look like in the end.
great photos Minnie! The minute there's an opportunity to swim there I'm off!
Football, rugby and goalball ones next
You can take some photos of what it looks like once the fins are removed

They're lovely Bungle, but where's the fireworks?
You didn't look hard enough!
I did. Thought that was lighting effects
