Paradise Gardens, Victoria Park, London. Late May Bank Holiday.

277 bus stops just on the corner of Lauriston Road and Victoria Park Road by the pub if that's a help to anyone. See you at 3pm.

Ta Thora, I reckon we'll walk up from Bethnal Green tube... not far from there is it?

It's a bit of a walk but not too bad - if you walk up Roman Rd then left onto Grove road you come to the opposite side of the park from the pub. London Fields overground station is probably a bit closer if that's any good for you.

We're coming from London Bridge way, so don't think we can get overground to London Fields... I don't mind a bit of a walk. Maybe see you in the pub, if we don't get there too late :D

That was most enjoyable, and it didn't rain.

Especially enjoyed the Alabama 3, Ska Cubano and the mechanical, fire-breathing horse!

Bumped into an old school friend who I'd lost touch with too.

Enjoyed that... nice to meet you briefly Thora... and see some people I haven't for a while. Bit of a dance too Alabama3... but after that it got a bit cold :o

Really enjoyed it. Had to go before Ska Cubano because the dogs wouldn't stop jumping around with each other. They had a great time! People kept taking pics of them because of the size difference and saying things like "i'll have a tenner on the little one" :D

Great to meet Onemonkey and see old friends :)

Back to the Planet were fab as usual

Why didn't I meet you?

I think you were over the other side of the stage. He did get a text asking where he was because someone was holding his beer. Was that you? :D

He was on his way back to his beer when he spotted our dog, who is his dog's sister, so he stopped for a chat :)

Unless i've got his board name wrong, of course, which i might have done :o :hmm:

Went on Saturday and it was such a nice day. Sun was shining and there was a great band doing old Johnny Cash covers and the like. Very chilled out festival all in all, no silly queues for anything, nothing but friendly faces and no worries with bringing beers in.

How a good summer festivals should be, rather then trying to ape big commercial festivals.

Went on the Sunday & thought it was great. Got a bit cold & wet later on & I was inadequately dressed.

This is how stuff in London should be run- even the end time was surprisingly late. Excellent work.

That was one excellent festie :D Sold a load of tequila and bumped into lots of old faces. Music was spot on too. I liked the hamster wheel ride thingy but missed going on the dive bomb at the steam fair. Bring on the Strawberry Fair and Stokefest in less than 2 weeks! Yay!

I don't think OneMonkey has a dog, so you may well have got it wrong. :)

Yes it was very well run. Well done to the organisers.

Have been to paying festivals that aren't as organised as that.
