Paradise Gardens, Victoria Park, London. Late May Bank Holiday.

Its FREE

It has no fence so you can bring your dog.

It did have rather great bar last year. A host of proper ales and fully plumbed in draught for about 3 quid a pint. The slightest hint of sun and I reckon it will be great.

Victoria park is a nice park.

It's a free event, so no reason why not, probably not in the tents though eh?

Yeh just wondered if anyone had seen anything, I couldn't see a mention of it. Sure we'll be fine :)

your dogs or drug dogs?

Mine! :mad::D

Count me in then.

Dunno what LMHR is, but I rung them up and they said they couldn't see why not... Victoria park is huge anyway.

yay!

Sunday weather doesn't look brilliant at the moment but it could change! :)

They are not having a lot of luck with this festival. From the Met office..

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

Mostly cloudy with showery rain on Friday. Many parts will be dry this weekend with a stiff easterly wind, but rain, some heavy, will plague southern parts throughout.

Updated: 0842 on Wed 21 May 2008

Well I can hope. The easterly wind is going to mean its pretty cold.

the reports keep changing on the weather, sunday was fine yesterday then today they said light rain so who knows. :)

It'll be decide on the day for me! :D

I'm glad about that. If I'm going to be able to make either day then it'll be the Sunday.

Fingers crossed Alabama3 aren't playing that day.
According to the Alabama3 website, they are. So tough!

And according to Ska Cubano's website, they are playing on sunday too - Yippee!

I thoroughly recommend Ska Cubano to anyone who hasn't seen them - a very danceable and infectious sound.

Oh well, never mind.

<edit> Wasn't referring to Ska Cubano, they may well actually be listenable.

I'll be there what ever the weather, its not as if its far away.

Back to the pub if it pisses it down. I quite like that pub.

If its sunny might be able to persuade the pixie crew?

Why don't Atomic Suplex put themselves forward for some of these free things over the summer? Or have you?

don't really know who to ask, there's no chance if yr not in with the organisers, loads of people want to play at them! it's difficult to even get any good gigs, the band is a bit of a niche appeal. that is why you end up with summer feelgood music at these things, music that trendy dads can bounce their babies on their shoulders to.

Yeh it should be fine I reckon. :)

Oh go on then, let's just get utterly wrecked ;):D

I've had a look at that now and I can't work out what bands are what day. And don't call me a flid, you sound like my brother

Read the thread- people are generally in confusion about which bands are playing which day.

You brother sounds like a good lad. :)
