Pancake Day!

I forgot it was today (technically yesterday, now), despite posting on this thread yesterday (technically the day before, now).

The lads have just come in from work and are making pancakes....Death Metal Magpie has just done his first successful flip....
pancakes are so metal

Their faces definitely lit up when they saw I'd made a jug of batter and had caster sugar, maple syrup and lemons at hand.

They're nice thin....you should try it.

I've tried them, and I quite enjoy them. I used to make them for the kids when they were little.

I just found them really time consuming (each kid kept eating and eating) and messy. The mess was probably because I let the kids put their own butter, sugar and lemon juice on.

Three of those skinny English ones or three decent sized American ones ?
I made corn ones as I couldn't be arsed to go the shop. They were pretty thick.

Making thin ones doesn't make me not sick though, I just eat more of them.

Certainly I don't know how you lot handle this sort of thing, tis the size of a whole entire cake.

Maybe thin ones are worse for feeling sick? More fat/topping to pancake ratio, init?
