Palm OS: recommended software for Treos etc

Isn't that something that should be built-in?
You can already do it, but it's a bit convoluted. This app makes it really easy, with the option to view the source code.

Most phones won't let you directly read HTML files and whole websites put on your SD card (i.e. not saved off the device after viewing but dragged over from your PC).

Talking of viewing HTML pages, there's a *really* good HTML editor for the Palm called DragonEdit - I'm hoping to get a review copy of the soon-come latest version.

All windowsCE phones will. At least, my Pocket PC from 6 years ago could, so I doubt that function's been removed.

I don't recall being able to drag over web folders from my PC with my last Windows phone, but no matter - this thread is about Palm OS software!

Treo 680 users - there's a new update available:

The Software Update for Unlocked GSM Palm Treo 680 Smartphones offers these enhancements to your device:
* Corporate email as it arrives¹ – Have your corporate email delivered to you with Microsoft® Direct Push Technology. Accept or decline meeting invites and access your company directory on the go.
* Power saving enhancements – Helps conserve battery life with improved power management and updated default system power preferences.
* Supports larger expansion cards – Supports up to 4GB SD expansion cards (including the SDHC format), sold separately.
* Enhanced ringtone support – MP3 and other sound files purchased from the web or sent from friends can now be set as ringtones and alerts (formats: MP3, AAC, AAC+, MIDI, WAV, and AMR). ²
* Three updates in one – This update incorporates three previously released software updates: Treo 680 Camera Update
You need a lot of free space available - around 32MB according to this poster:

Just installing it. Bloody hell, you have to jump through nuff hoops.

1. You HAVE to use a formatted SD card to do the update
2. It completely wipes the treo - so you have to backup and restore
3. It takes about 15 minutes!

Apparently, you can use 16GB cards with the Palm 680 - this from http://mytreo.net.

"Just wanted to let you all know that I am using a 16 gb sdhc card (transcend) class 6 successfully on my treo 680 since yesterday after applying the official palm ROM update."

Got Agendus for Windows Desktop for $10! But it wont sync with my Centro...in the help it says to right click on the hot sync icon on the bottom right of the taskbar but that doesn't have any options for allowing AWD to sync. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how to resolve this?

Those headphones are seriously shit.

Grab yourself a pair of Sennheiser CX300s for £18 or so and either get the ones with the 2.5mm jack, or get the more useful 3.5mm version and buy a cheapo adapter from Marlins.
