I'm also looking forward to seeing Glenn Beck run for the nomination, and drown his contributors at a fundraiser when someone yells out 'COUNTRY!!'
My mate's got a theory that Glenn Beck is an actor or some kind of stooge.
He's out now, served two full terms and couldnt stand for a third under Florida law.
IIRC one of his electoral pluses is a Hispanic wife.

Hispanics are 'natural' repug voters - family focussed, conservative religious beliefs (by and large), strong work ethic, community focussed, fiscally conservative and many of them have made the concept of 'American Dream' pay, and pay well.
I was looking at the photos of Palin's supporters - Asian Americans, Latinos a a strong presence along with the expected crowds of rednecks and assorted inbreds.

depends which Hispanics you´re talking about. The majority of the expanding Hispanic population live in inner-city ghettos, and many first and second generation latinos respond badly to the GOP´s immigrant bashing (as they still have a lot of family in LatAm). Yeah there´s an immigrant population that dates back further which is more conservative, but it´s an increasingly small part of that demographic.
They went heavily Dem last time out.
