it is racism and it is indemic with in the IDF who are the foot soilders in a literal as well as a metaphorical sense for israel.

there is only one race and that's the human race, the rest of the different types of humanity are merely cultures there is no significant or definable biological sub species of human which could accurately be described as a race.

The term race was a victorian invention to justfy segreigation and limitation of blacks and other imigrants, along with eugenics and other concepts now disregarded.

were we to attempt to set up some definitive cross sectioning of humanity, it would be more approprate to say they are phenotypes that races and even then this presupposes some definable genetic differences which aren't really there...

so the best we can come up with is that different races are defined by their cultrally accepted norms and practices; ergo a refuseal to accept another culturally accept norms and practices would be in reality racism. (it should prolly be a good idea to scrap the concept of racism as it promotes the concep of seperate disperate 'races' which of course as described above is rubbish and reffer to this more accurately as culture clash/cultural imperialism/enforced dominence - this is prolly a different thread)

ergo as short hand when i say racist i am really saying cultral imperialism and enforced cultural dominence, it's short hand, i'm not using old versions of a victorian based eugenices formed concept of a different tribe being a different race... or the same tribe being the same race...

ergo it's racism in my book, possibley with the above clarification you'd also concere?
