Palestinian Yugoslavia?

Naturally, what you call "rightists" yearn for a return to Judaisim's golden age. Who would not?

Well not you obviously, as you self-confessedly don't even keep kosher. :p

I might, but only if you made an 'academic' case. I can't support something you claim, but don't provide quotes/proof/etc of. You're expecting too much of the reader to be able to just take your word for it. That, combined with the name-calling, actually undermines your position further. Support would come if you provided proper proof at the time you made your claim.

I wasn't addressing you, tangent. I was addressing oor good fiend rachfash.

Nino: Claiming that [correctly] Jews have lived continuously in Israel does not have anything to do with the Bible. It is a little thing called "a -r-c-h-a-e-o-l-o-g-y" backed up by independant historical accounts.

You have used the Bible as a justifcation and not archaeology. You aren't even consistent with your nonsense.:D

Panda: While I was born frum, my time in the army changed all that. funny, now my divison has a charedi battalion [ironic]. At the time though, religious Jews usually did not serve, other than modern orthadox anyway. To think had I joined in the past couple of years, I probably would still have peot, etc. Who knows though? My wife, a Bisayan who converted, is more religious than me and is pressing me to return to kashrut.

Nino: Please be so nice as to show one example where I have used the Bibile as an example. Thanks.

Me, I keep kosher. It's not difficult because I don't eat "red meats" anyway, I can't digest them.
A few friends who've "gone back" to kosher found it very difficult though, more so than giving up in the first place.

Nice try...just like those articles you posted to me by pm. You have used the Bible to support your arguments before: you have claimed that Israel has a "divine right". I don't have to trawl the archives and I'm not going to do it for you benefit either.

Your rationale for this request is fairly easy to spot: you're trying to sideline me. It won't work, pal.
