I remember reading in the Observer magazine a few years ago that brixton houses 1% of the UK's mental health patients....

Those pots have been there for ages, I'd guess more than a year. It certainly feels like that. I think its connected to this van which was (and still sometimes is?) parked in the estate by the skatepark:

anyone remember the little carved slab in the central reservation between speedy noodle and kfc? it had some flowers and sometimes a picture of some guy. I don't know if it was a shrine or something. Anyone remember that?

It wasn't a carved slab that I remember it was a laminate photo of Haile Selassie and a flower that would appear periodically. Haven't seen it for a couple of years though.

1% wouldn't be ridiculous for Lambeth as a whole, which has about 0.5% of the UK's population.
