A group of residents and business owners on the border between Brixton and Stockwell got together in November to turn a dingy south London backstreet into a new destination for good quality street art.

Based in Stockwell Lane (just off Stockwell Road), the 'Love Lane Street Art Gallery' currently has pieces from 8 artists on its walls = Irony, SkyHigh, Airborne Mark, Aspire, Tizer One, Roo, Sterling and BenJay Crossman.

This weekend (Sat 14th and Sun 15th) four more artists will be adding superb additional pieces to the laneway - Woskerski, Artista, DRT and SourEye.

If you're a fan of street art, feel free to come down and watch as the artists do their stuff this weekend, or just visit the Laneway any time to check it out.
