"Troubled" doesn't come close. Those lyrics are horrific. He clearly loathes women beyond all measure.

He has such a lovely sweet voice too. if you don't pay attention to the lyrics it can sound like a pleasant enough song.

They were playing the track all day long on BBC 1xtra and various other commercial radio stations and it was nominated for a MOBO award in 2005.

Bizarrely it was considered to be a "conscious" track by many people.

According to Björk, "Birthday" is a "tasteless pop song" about a five-year-old girl who has a love affair with the man next door, who is celebrating his fiftieth birthday.
