I actually quite like Scarface - but I prefer Carlito's Way as a piece of cinematographic art, as it were.
I have never seen it, oddly. I've now got a loooooooot of time on my hands, so I'll get round to it soon & let you know what I reckon.

Carlito's Way > Scarface

The script is fucking AMAZING! It's one of the most quotable films of all time! The music is brilliant - Giorgio Mororder and Debbie Harry ffs! The clothes....oh, man, the clothes....it's really a sensationally good film.
It's not even a student film, ffs! It's a hip hop head film, traditionally.
...and, if you don't like it, please explain why you are such a stupid knobend. Astonish me, shitface.

Why so bad, two words, Keanu Reeves.
............but it has a KEANU REEVES! An ACTUAL one.
You're a woman of a certain age, and haven't seen a film with Reeves and Swayze in?
:headshake:
There's, like, no pretence that people are engaging in normal conversations at all - it's just all zingers!

You're so wrong about TF&TF it's almost causing me physical pain.
Same story exactly - but with cars & bikes and truck hijackings instead of bank jobs wearing facemasks.
But it's still the fucken nuts, especially the cars. OMFG there are some cars in that film.

In the interests of fairness i watched the whole thing.
Actually WORSE than I expected.
"vaya con dios" my arse.
"they call him the Bhodisatva"

LOL, I just remembered - I watched it with Stella - and she GENUINELY was saying to me that Patrick Swayze was NOTHING at all to do with the bank robbers. Like, he was just in it as some bloke or something! She believed that with such conviction that, when they stormed the house of those dealers with the guns, she was giving it all "HA! I told you!!" till I pointed out the film had only been going about 40 mins or so at that stage.
