Out of ten, how amazing is Point Break...

The script is fucking AMAZING! It's one of the most quotable films of all time! The music is brilliant - Giorgio Mororder and Debbie Harry ffs! The clothes....oh, man, the clothes....it's really a sensationally good film.

It's not even a student film, ffs! It's a hip hop head film, traditionally.

Spaceballs is quotable...doesn't make it a compelling narrative.

Anyhow Point Break. Utterly shit film.

Keanu was good in The Matrix where he didn't have to betray any emotions. Much like Jude Law playing an android on AI. Perfect casting....after that he's fucked....although Bill and Ted is still good

There's, like, no pretence that people are engaging in normal conversations at all - it's just all zingers!

:D:D

Action movie for "chicks" IMO

(which, yes, essentially means it's of no artistic/student-kitsch/ironic/nutritional value at all, it's just shit. Soz)

You're so wrong about TF&TF it's almost causing me physical pain.

Same story exactly - but with cars & bikes and truck hijackings instead of bank jobs wearing facemasks.

But it's still the fucken nuts, especially the cars. OMFG there are some cars in that film.

You obviously have taken far too many drugs.
Too Fast Too Furious. Don't get me started.

"For those 10 seconds I'm Free."

The bald twat should have more wanks then

In the interests of fairness i watched the whole thing.

Actually WORSE than I expected.

"vaya con dios" my arse.

I liked Point Break when I saw it first. Then I watched it again about 10 years ago and thought it was hilariously crap.

Watched 10 minutes of it the other night and it was utterly unwatchable. Complete bobbins.

I watched that last night and really enjoyed it :D

Didn't have to think too much, didn't make me cry or anything shit like that, just entertainment

LOL, I just remembered - I watched it with Stella - and she GENUINELY was saying to me that Patrick Swayze was NOTHING at all to do with the bank robbers. Like, he was just in it as some bloke or something! She believed that with such conviction that, when they stormed the house of those dealers with the guns, she was giving it all "HA! I told you!!" till I pointed out the film had only been going about 40 mins or so at that stage.

Oh no, now you're just lying
