I bought 8 cases of Cobra beer date stamped Nov 2007, at the end of Nov 2007 for 20 cents a bottle. There's feck all wrong with it, and it got us pished throughout Xmas, and there's still loads under the bed left. Result
Oh dear, out of date vodka is even worse, it was found to contain around ten times the amount of that toxic compound (known as hydroxyethane) as a typical lager So ten times more poisonous, potentially 10 times more lethal
It 'leaves the solution' but I dunno if there one word for it. I think it would 'precipitate' if CO2 was solid, not sure what the word is for gases becoming undissolved though
I read on newscientist.com about a study into out of date lagers. The research suggested that "All of the out of date lagers tested were found to contain a toxic organic compound, consumption of which can cause acute respiratory failure or death"
You're fucked mate, bye bye. I hope you enjoyed your life up until now and I'm sure you'll be missed.
Have to agree with this, my company is currently disposing of out of date ales etc due to the acute health risk.We need details so as to contain this outbreak of outdated ale and deal with it as we know how!
