Just what sort of dimwitted fuckwit schedules the biggest football match this city has seen for something like 15 years for today and arranges an early start?

It will no-doubt came as a complete surprise to them that many thousands of typical central-belt football cunts plus more than enough of our own, headed straight for the centre, hell-bent on getting pissed & fuck-knows what else.

I'm currently nursing a sore shoulder after managing to dodge a punch that was pretty clearly intended for my face & had to talk my way past another bunch, who at least were our own & really looking for the opposition to lamp.

I haven't written any Christmas cards yet.

I haven't put up any decorations yet.

But I have bought lots of yummy things to eat

I have completely pleased myself all day. The occasion was only marred slightly when my dad rany at 10am and woke me up. He knows I sleep in on Christmas day but does it anyway, it's our tradition.

Still sat in my dressing gown, going for a bath soon after which I will put on clean pjs and probably my not quite clean dressing gown

There has been mostly films on the tv today, son has eaten much sugary things and me and hubby haven't done that badly either. Pizza, chips and beans we had for tea

Going to visit a pal tomorrow coz I've going mental not doing anything. So we'll sit and play the PS2 in her house

Haven't even been able to garden last few days coz the ground is frozen.

Had a nice quiet day, dinner with my mother & we avoided interacting with a bunch of relatives who we have both had enough of.

Visitor in the evening who talked a lot - only just got rid of them.

Checked the greenhouse, which was at -4 & persuaded the cats out for a wee while.

Heading-out somewhere tomorrow.

Blew the fusebox in my g/f's mums house in Christmas day resulting in 2 hours

F*ck!! Just got a lovely card from inlaws this morning. Totally forgot I should send them a card, and one to my stepmum and sister. Oops!!

Danny, I already send as few cards as possible. Unfortunately I can't not send one to my inlaws, I like them and they're better to me than my own parents ever were.

The lights have been switched-off in town. Normality is resuming slowly!

Oh, they were still there on Thursday, and they were better than quite a few places, not that we were google earthing and webcamming on Thursday night , oh no

Boy goes back to college on Monday so that'll be us back to normal

Yup, Aul-eil today (6th) that is when they traditionally go-off. Although if other years are anything to go by, it will be about the end of February before they finally get them down.

The council also never managed to find the illuminated city leopard that vanished from the Kittybrewster Store some time in the last year - which is a pity as it was easilly the best of the civic decorations & looked great across from the theatre. My bet it is now in a councillor's garden somewhere.

I think I might worry if the place ever dragged itself into the light!
