Yes. It isn't enjoyable and seldom does anything change. I work with casual bigots and they'll refer to whatever article the right wing rags are peddling and base their daily rants on that. It's predictable and fucking tedious.

I think you'll find there's absolutely no shortage of websites where you can study racist fucknuts in action in the greatest detail if that's your interest.

We've tried the, "hey, let's try and get a challenging debate going with a racist twat!" approach before many, many times and the end result is always the same.

Fair enough, that was my first time encountering a serious racist person on urban.

All people are not created equal, as we all must be aware- even the founding fathers, intelligent men that they were, surely must have known that was a load of idealist bullshit when they penned it. Also, has anyone else noticed that dark-skinned people in the world are generally less intelligent and more barbaric than light skinned (white) people? Which isn't to say that many Whites aren't barbaric or stupid- I live in America, the land of the stupid white person- it's just that the dark-skinned cultures (middle east and africa and mexico/central america/south america) are so much dumber and more barbaric than the white skinned cultures (north america, europe, asia, and australia). I guess you could call the aformentioned the 3 Dark Regions and the 4 White Regions.

I know that what I'm saying is racist, but most of us can agree that it's fairly accurate. The 3 Dark Regions are the greatest threat to the future of mankind, because they are so ignorant, uneducated, primitive, and delusional (islam). These dark-skinned people refuse to accept modern science and medicine, as well as liberal western values.

I think that we in the White regions should do more to transform the Dark Regions into civilized, enlightened, educated, intelligent, and peaceful people.

I was really interested in this thread too. I think I could have learnt a lot from him, without taking on board his ideas, or him taking on mine. Thats not what its about. The sole purpose of debate is not to convert people.

Also I expect it was helpful for him to share his ideas. When your own your own, or just with other racist people things can get out of proportion. Expressing himself on the internet was probably his way of trying to restore some balance. And you shot him down. I hope he finds another outlet, and isnt too put off by all this.

Maybe we have got things out of proportion here. Did we need to ban him, to close our eyes to something we find ugly? Maybe that 'ugliness' is in all of us and thats what can be scary.

Yes, we did, because all he was going to do was repeat his filthy racist agenda again and again.

Moreover, the FAQ is very clear about racist posts and I don't want this kind of vile shit stinking out the place. Besides, there's loads of forums you can visit if you wish to argue the toss with diehard, bonehead racists.

I understand your frustration with this, but I dont think the 'end result' is what its about. Otherwise we would be agreeing with him that we might as well have a global suicide.

The end result is not why we type all this and the sole purpose of debate is not to convert people.

Also there probably are lots of racist forums on the net. But I dont think there are many where a racist man can fling his ideas into a largely non-racist pool. And survive.
I think by choosing Urban, he was trying to subconciously restore some balance within himself.

Even if he wasnt converted to our way of thinking, we could debate with him, and direct him to all the ways that he was ungrounded. Accepting them or not, he would still be standing in front of his mystery. This is helpful.

But then you dont believe that. Mystery is scary. Bit like an unknown Darkie, speaking an alien language.

Mystery used to be scary for me, and then I thought I had tamed it somehow. This was a temporary solution. I dont think we will ever restore justice, until we give it up.

Really ask yourself why you want to close your ears to this man. And then ask why again. and again. See how the mystery increases each time, and with it your wariness? You could utilise this to understand why he fears Darkies.
