Our beautiful Simba has gone missing

I meant to post this a few days ago but I have been away and unable to get to a pc.

I'm very happy to report that Simba came back a few days ago. In all he was away for about a week but he didn't look in distress or thinner. So the bastard was just pissing about, probably. He didn't even attempt to look guilty or happy to see us when we set eyes on each other after his holiday. :D

Anyways, thanks for all the support! :)

That's great. Typical cat, not bothering to look guilty. :D (On the rare occasions my two look guilty I am really, really worried as it means either a dead bird or the utter destruction of some prized household artefact).

Hooray

Fucking cats are bastards aren't they? One of mine went missing for about 4 days once. I was knocking on doors, putting up posters, the lot.

It sauntered in one afternoon, grubby but otherwise fine. To this day, I don't know where she was.

I have been too scared to read this thread again in case it was bad news. :o Glad I did now

Oh blimey - I was dreading opening this thread but it's good news!!! Hurrah x millions :)

BTW - my reenee turned up yesterday, walked all over the wet cement floor my husband had spent the day laying and buggered off again :D

Woooo!

Glad to hear it. Naughty Simba! (Bet he got away with it after a bit of purring and cuddling, too!)

I wonder if cats have any idea of the amount of sleepless nights, worry and anxiety that they cause sometimes? They just saunter around, casually coming and going as and when they feel like it.

Glad he is back though.:)

Was probably getting his leg over. If you see lots of kittens around the area soon you'll know where they're from ;)

Glad he's back

our cat went missing for about nine weeks once and then turned up on our doorstep ...

We used to have a cat like this...used to regularly go off for 2/3 weeks or so, then come back. I guess you get cats at either end of the domestic - wild (lion) spectrum.

Glad Simba has returned.

I swear he looks fatter than before he went missing. I suspect there is an old lady somewhere he visits and gets spoilt by. Perhaps she decided he was too nice to share...

Ta for all the messages :)

Yes, the lot. I know tomcats who still have 'all their bits' are prone to week-long shagfests or wander offs... mine doesn't so I found his dissapearance much more worrying.
