It would be nice for the countries that have been hit by Al Queda or their affiliates to deliver Bin Ladens coup de grace. Countries like Britian, Spain, Bali or the US.

Bali is not a country.

It is the 12th largest island within the Republic of Indonesia.

Bizarre that CNN and ABC are neglecting the trebly-indirect nature (at least) of the alleged source:

The French regional newspaper l'Est Republicain yesterday printed what was later confirmed as an authentic document from France's DGSE intelligence service. This said "according to a usually reliable source, Saudi security services are now convinced that Osama bin Laden is dead

So we have:

• The person who leaked the document from La Piscine (the DGSE);
• La Piscine, who almost always have an agenda of their own;
• The person who leaked the claim from Saudi security services to DGSE;
• The Saudi security services, themselves, ditto;
• Whoever passed the story to the Saudi security services, who will have an agenda of their own.

And then the comments from "US security sources" who say "the Saudis would have told us" - unless they were planting the story in the first place and wanted it to appear to come from somewhere independent

What do you mean? "9/11 etc" says it all, really.

Bush and Bliar alone have caused the deaths of over 100,000 Iraqi's alone, and that number's from two years ago, and the Lancet was being conservative even then. Fuck knows how many Afghans died during the war, at least one can say Afghanistan had something to do with al qaeda.

Between them, Bush and Bliar and Clinton before them maintained a seige on Iraq that is beleived to have caused the deaths of over a million Iraqi children, merely to weaken that country. Bush and Bliar supported and backed with weapons and military support Isreals 33 day war on the people of Lebanon,thousands killed because they wanted to assure the Isreali objectives (basically comes down to an attempted land-grab).

Come on, I could go on for pages if I were a more rigorous man, but I'm sure you know those two have been directly responsible (as the givers of orders at any rate) for the deaths of thousands. As far as I'm concerened, Bush, Bliar and Bin Laden are at war with the rest of us. Are you saying that 9/11 is a far greater crime because Americans died? I disagree with that entirely.
