Original Source shower gels and body scrubs

This thread reminded me to get a body shop order in ... but have they dropped their proper deodorant again ? - the aloe vera isn't really up to taming my manly perspiration....

(their "man's" range is minging IMHO :p )

I cant quite match you! - because I use the Ahava Dead Sea range of shampoos and conditioners
Ugh. These are settlement products, and illegal imports to boot.

More Source, that's what I say.

I've used the mint stuff for years, although it was always a bit awkward trying to explain that you used Mint Source in the shower!

Well, i didnt just pour some gel onto the sponge and rub it there directly if that's what you mean! :D

What i thought would happen is: whilst showering, work up into a lather and then some of the minty lather would...you know...find it's way there :o

although i was a bit wary and therefore only *very* dilluted lather got near my intimates...

but no...no tingle. will try again tomorrow.

The shower gel's good shit though

:D I am so relieved that i arent tho only one to have noticed that added Zing in the minty shower gel, I do wonder whether i am odd sometimes - then urban comes along a shows me i arent the only weirdo:cool:

heh a shower directed on ones clit whilst using minty stuff can become abit:eek: if directed for tooooo long!

I have one those on the tap cave man shower thingys so I have to hold the shower head iykwim.:)

You the weirdo?? I feel like a weirdo for not having felt the zing!

beeboo - dont feel ashamed: You loves it! :D

A minty shower gel followed by neutragena's moisturising oil results in my bathroom smelling like lovely minty chocolate. yum.

Mint is nice for summer, very cooling, not for the winter, i'm cool enough.

For the most part they are gorgeous! Im working my way through the new body scrubs. Just had a glorious shower with the new Papaya Fruit, Aloe Vera and Bamboo body scrub. It was wonderful; smelled heavenly and now I am all shiney and smooth! I smell so nice, I could lick myself. :D :o

Love
The Lemon - cant get enough of it.
The lime (which smells like jelly babies).
The Lavender- just before bed

Dislike
The mint- smells like toothpaste and is so strong it 'burned' me rude bits.
Avoid the almond at all costs, I smelled it in superdrug and almost vommed as it smells exactly like marzipan.
I got the minty one as the free sample (as in I actually ASKED for it!). It is a bit burnacious, although my rude bits may be somewhat less sensitive than yours, what with being Chap Rude Bits, and a bit older and tougher than yours, I expect :), but I find that burnaciousness quite tingly and refreshing...

It's lovely stuff, though, and I think I may have to try some of the other flavours. Maybe I'll convince Ms Pembrokestephen that having a few of these around might encourage me into the shower more often, muahahahaha....

I'm going to get some of this mint stuff
That was my attitude when a girl friend happened to mention in the pub one night that it refreshes the parts other shower gels don't.

And yep, according to my selfless research in the name of testing an unconfirmed hypothesis, it does.

But don't take my word for it...

;) :D

As far as I know, Original Source products are made from natural essential oils, so should not be harmful.
I used to think that, it's all good stuff, innit.

But have you seen those recent ads boasting about how many fields of lavender it takes to make one bottle of the stuff?

Very nice stuff, but uses a shocking amount of natural resources.

hadn't thought of it that way - I thought ooh lovely all that nice lavender in my shower gel! :D

I once made the mistake of putting peppermint oil in my bath, so I can verify that it does indeed make everything tingle. And make's a boiling hot bath feel ice cold, which is an odd experiance.

I got a free sample of the lemon one, as a consequence of which I bought a proper size one. I love it! It's quite difficult to get it out of the tube, though, although that might be my arthritis, I suppose.

But I love the smell of it! :)

Loved the mint shower gel, and the one with lime, but ended up adding loads of glycerine to both as they were much too drying without it.
