ok i'm back from cebit.
saw that thing and held it myself.
conclusion: no big deal.
there are 3 different product design from 3 manufacturers. imo, samsung one is the better design. the other two are way chunky. will post pic later.
didn't play with it much since the press was there and the microsoft guys were like we got a VIP coming in 2 mins, so hands off!
little note:
what attractive (or not) was the text input method, how the keyboard is layout onscreen - separated in two parts for left and right hands, keys positioned on curves and meant to be tapped by only thumbs etc. tried it, it's not perfect as touchscreen ui is always tricky. it requires some learning time to use.
