I think we're at a stage where so few people have seen this first-hand that no amount second-hand success stories (and very weak ones at that) will make any difference. It just goes in one ear and out the other with most people (as I've experienced). Most people, even ones being squezed as they now, will just nod to humour you and then go staright back to reading their Daily Drivel Rag about beastly, lazy grasping strikers and lap it all up.

Well getting an extra hour paid break or saving some jobs or getting a slightly higher pay rise is not monumental but to call it weak I think goes too far. They are real changes.

I think you may be just a little too cynical and pessimistic. But hey it takes all sorts!
