does Jeff still live there - he was the estate mechanic and he had a couple of dogs, he also did welding for people?

i bumped into him a few years back and he wasn't in the best of health but he was struggling on. in your pic, his flat still looks occupied.

oh, that's sad news :(

i liked him, i helped him with his official forms cos he couldn't write that well and in return, he showed me how to strip and rebuild a car engine. he had a wicked sense of humour and regaled me with lots of tales, some tall and some less so. but a good bloke all the same.

Yeah he was a good friend of mine too and a great neighbour to have. He was thoughtful, generous and we all miss him. He will be in our thoughts and conversations on Sunday for sure. :)

:D Erm......

Nearly 2am the night before...Level of panic is very low...have not stopped running around since 6 this morning...loads to do early tomorrow BUT super happy as it is falling into place slowly but surely...there will be stress tomorrow but I will enjoy it all the same.

Miss shelf: please introduce yourself if you make it tomorrow. Actually anyone who comes actually...say hi please:)

Morning...I mean night...I am proper broken!!! :)

Thank you for coming, nice to meet you although I didn't have much time to talk to you. Hopefully next time.

We had an amazing day that finished at 9:30 this morning...:hmm:

I am really happy with how it went and so are my neighbours etc which makes me even happier....

Don't remember it all but i'm hoping it starts coming back to me at some point. :D

Also,

Click the 1/26 arrows on that link for still pictures of the installation. Some dodgey ones of me BUT I go to put my own picture up and drive the crane. Picture number 26 is after it was all up and we celebrated.

Just sorting out some pics of the party will post them later. :)

excellent:D

whats the feeling in your block a week on?

Well....It has taken ME a week to recover ;) and everyone else was quiet for a few days...BUT people have not stopped knocking the door and stopping me in the street to say how much they enjoyed it and when can we have another one etc...

I am still collecting pics as there were lots of people with cameras on the day so no doubt I will post a few more as I get them.
