He was pretty successful?!

Bomber Graham could have been so, so much more. He just lacked the "mental edge" that the likes of Bernard Hopkins and Barrera have. Goes to show how much success in boxing is in the mind.

Going for Danny.

I just think Audley looks good when he's boxing well but we've only seen him against rubbish fighters and even then, he has some dodgy spells.

The key is whether he can keep up the intensity, and I don't think he can.
I reckon Danny'll creep in with a big fat sucker punch and do him.

But to be honest, it is a really difficult one to call. Not least because despite having seen most of Audley's fights on TV I still don't have much of an idea about how good he is.

The other thing is I don't know who I want to win.

Basically I just want the best boxer with the biggest chance of getting a tilt at a major to win - which'll be the winner, if that makes any sense.

Who do you guys want to win?

Audley for me (who I want to win)... Danny has had his chance, and failed. Yes he could propbably beat one of the alphabet boys but let's see what Audley can do.

I'm biased tho'.

Harrison on a split decision

Harrison to control the opening rounds picking off Williams from a distance with his jab.

Williams to land some solid blows in the seventh and eighth and put Harrison firmly on the backfoot for a couple of rounds,Finally Williams draws Harrison into a trade off towards the end of the eighth, which despite some showboating from Harrison towards the final 30 seconds of the round and some untidy holding on by both men halfway through the round ends with honours even

Harrison to finish strongly in the final round as williams runs out of steam and ideas.

To be honest i dont mind who wins,Williams definately has the experience of being in with the better fighters of the two, whereas Harrison has probally got the edge in terms of phsyique and probally desire, its going to be very hard for Danny to overcome the setback of the Klitschko defeat, particullarilly if Audley bosses the first few rounds, which i expect him to do comfortably,i think audleys greatest danger will come from a lapse of concentration occuring mid fight,

Harrison for me in what I reckon just might {only 'just' mind!} be a half decent British Heavyweight contest since all these things tend to comparitive and I see these two as being on some kind of par with each other. The heavy weight division is'nt exactly brilliant at the moment is it?

Although it's going to be a great fight, I still think it is a shame they're fighting.

For whoever loses, it'll be the end of their career and I'd prefer it if they both carried on until they got a shot (or in Williams' case another) at a world title.

Khan is entirely overrated. He's yet to face anyone of any prestige or experience and his last fight was a joke

I think this is pretty unfair - Khan's a talented young boxer just starting out on his professional career. I reckon he's got more boxing talent in his little finger than Audley Harrison who, IMO, has been a huge disappointment.

Anyhow back to Saturday's fight - I reckon Williams will win on points.

Williams k.o. eighth round :)

Not that I know anything but I will at least get to see this fight and desperately want Williams to win :o

Thank god, hopefully harrison will now hang up his gloves. Rubbish, dull fighter, no power, no aggression, nothing....too much talk.

I agree RB but I'd go as far as to say it was a shocking performance by both contestants although more so Harrison. The unwillingness to engage in a boxing match particularly in the earlier rounds was quite frankly embarassing and pathetic. If this is what heavyweight boxing is all about you can keep it for me. Glad Williams took it fwiw after such a shite performance by Harrison.

Yeah,Williams won it allright, but even he ran out of steam, he should have piled in when he had the chance.

Now I realise I'm a fat cunt and all that , but it's not my job and my only chance of fame and fortune ffs.

only saw the end of it looked pretty poor :(
didnt see amir khan :(

i was right tho- danny on points

why do so many people write him off?
he proved against tyson he has the stamina

audley has proved consitently that he is afraid or fighting someone decent and now we know why

still

very poor from what i saw :(

The only good thing about the Harrison - Williams fight was that it wasn't on pay-per-view, and thus I didn't spend £15 on watching it.

It was an appalling exhibition by Harrison, he seemed more interested in wrestling Williams than actually fighting him. If I wanted the World Heavyweight Tango Championship I'd have got cable.

Williams seemed to want it more, but I think his stamina (and Harrison's relentless John Ruiz-style spoiling tactics) let him down. He could have finished Harrison after the knockdown had he had a little more in the tank.

Amir Khan was his usual self. Fast, committed, getting more powerful with every fight. TBH, the Khan fight was infinitely better than the main event.

Apart from that, a poor night's entertainment.

Of course, we all know what EVERY boxing fan really wants to see.

John Ruiz Vs Andrew Golota in a five fight series.

It would still be better than a Harrison - Williams rematch .

amir khan was class.still a little bit to learn but will not be surprised to see a belt around his waist in a year or two.danny williams can expect some good pay days good luck to him

Heavy weights though, they always lumber.
I'm getting a funny idea of what a fight should look like though, cos they're always re-playing classics.

Yep. Even Lennox Lewis, great as he was, wasn't always exhilarating to watch.

My friend showed his mum the Lewis-Holyfield fight a few years ago, her response was "It's hardly 'float like a butterfly sting like a bee, is it?'.

The most exciting fights are virtually always in the lower weights.

Its the second time that Naseem has said he will fight next year.

He has a bigger target to hit with his double chin.

Harrison was shite. The brittish hope for the future i don't think, williams was the only one trying to fight, harrison just stood there. A good win for kahn though.
This fight reminded me why i don't normaly watch the heavy weights, a very boring fight.
