That will put the secret No. 10 email system they don't have really have under some considerable strain. :)

So what - if he can ignore a million and a half (and counting) e-signatures, then he should easily be able to ignore the same number of email replies in his intray - I really don't think that he's got the hang of this technology stuff.

The fact that the way food is retailed has changed is not a natural phenomena, it has been pushed, it is part of the problem.

It often has severe implications for those who DON'T have a car, particuarly the poorest, women and the elderly who find they pay over the odds for a worse selection of foodstuffs.

"It has been pushed" - but if people didn't want it, then why would they flock to retail parks in their milllions - because local authorities have made downtown a no-go area unless you want to sit on a noisy uncomfortable bus.

Yes, city centres have been made, in themselves less car friendly.
Leave the car on the edge and go in with Park and Ride then, it’ll be cheaper than parking and less hassles.

How pleasant it is to walk along a shopping street without traffic!

I used to be able to go to M&S in my local market town 8 miles away and there were 3 buses an hour I could get there. Now I’d have to drive 30 miles to Cribb’s Causeway to go there, there’s no bus. Great “choice” huh?

What if I want to go shopping for a new LCD TV, half a dozen books, two pairs of trousers and a suit as well as the week's groceries - how pleasant it is to stagger around laden down with stuff, looking forward to the prospect of lugging it onto a bus where there's no storage space.

No thanks, for all of that I'll whizz round to the mall where parking is 100% free.

How often would you buy all of that though? Not very often.
What about the people who CAN'T get to The Mall?

Shopped for groceries and clothes in ASDA the other week. Came out with about five bags. Across the street and onto the frequent bus with plenty of storage space. Lovely.

Already prepared for all this

I've tried to persuade my other half we should get one. She's having none of it (then again getting her on a bike in the first place is a work of Sysiphus)
