Operational commander of Al Qaida killed

Here's some more:

"From 1945 to 2003, the United States attempted to overthrow more than 40 foreign governments, and to crush more than 30 populist-nationalist movements fighting against intolerable regimes. In the process, the US bombed some 25 countries, caused the end of life for several million people, and condemned many millions more to a life of agony and despair."

William Blum

"The enormous gap between what US leaders do in the world and what Americans think their leaders are doing is one of the great propaganda accomplishments of the dominant political mythology."

Michael Parenti, political scientist and author

And while i'm at it, this to finish off:

"We were not born critical of existing society. There was a moment in our lives (or a month, or a year) when certain facts appeared before us, startled us, and then caused us to question beliefs that were strongly fixed in our consciousness-embedded there by years of family prejudices, orthodox schooling, imbibing of newspapers, radio, and television."

Howard Zinn

Considering this guy had a 5 million dollar bounty on his head, I would think that made him a fairly big fish.

The US has done a good job knocking the operational commander of Al Qaida out of the corporation. This is the third operational commander knocked out since the attacks of 9-11. Khalid Sheikh Mohammad and Abu Zubeyda (both taken alive) were the first two. Now the CIA killed Hamza Rabia. Better to take alive of course, but dead is a good second in my book.

I feel this way because this dick belonged to a group that murdered thousands of my countrymen. Just one of those things.

It's all about picking a team and cheering them on - isn't it? Thousands of your 'countrymen' are killed every year by automobiles and firearms but I don't see you waging a campaign against those two industries.

What I find so utterly contemptible about your posts is that you assume that because we criticise Bush and his junta that we are in league with Satan/AQ. But then you are only capable of thinking in terms of simplistic binaries, so any attempt to engage you is pointless. I get a better conversation from the speaking clock.

...As opposed to what, a "bad hit"?
Rather alot of those actually .
On February 4, 2002, a Predator drone fired a Hellfire missile at 'three tall men' believed to be Al Qaeda members because they were clothed in long robes. The three men were later revealed to be poor people scavenging for metal in the Zhawar Kili battlefields
I read somewhere, one of the tall guys was actually an American agent.
