Open House London, 19 and 20 September, 2009

I went to the hindu temple at neasden. It was gorgeous.

Very impressive.
The Hindu Temple is really stunning, you can go there any time.

I went to The Lloyds Building which was great. Also visited 1 New St Square and London House.

I didn't bother with the web site and just used the booklet.

Didn't either of you take any pics?

You're not allowed to take pics. I bought photos. If I'd seen this before now I'd have brought them out with me. Or you can just look at the website.

Anyway, I think that was a very successful day, alltold. Brix could have conducted herself a little better, to be honest, but we still managed to fit a lot in. We did Pullman Court, The Royal College of Physicians and Gerald Thru'penny-Bit's Croydon masterpiece, the NLA building.

I doubt very much they'll ever let us back in the Thru-penny Bit building though. Not after the way you disgraced yourself

And hiding behind your handbag was just ridiculous

I'm sorry for making you cry in front of all the beard strokers.

It's true what they said about you in the PMs quimmie :(

Anyway, some pics from the day:

I am currently camera-less. Dunno if it's been stolen or just lost.

Oh no - hope you find it soon!

We actually did disgrace ourselves in the NLA building. We turned up just before they were due to shut up for the day (and the junior architect types looked tired and bored as all hell) proceeded to get the giggles for no reason whatsoever, actually cried with laughter, demanded they "tell us about the building then" and then stumbled off still laughing. Poor buggers - whatever they got paid for that shift, it wasn't enough.
