Watched the Walker Cup at Porthcawl some years ago, it was the year that Gordon Sherry was the big white hope of British golf, and Padraig was the only golfer to remain unbeaten all weekend. Thought at the time he was gonn abe a good un, wish I had backed me hunch!

In that Walker cup followed Woods in the singles, out of bounds three times in 18 holes.One on the beach, one in a cow field and one in the car park, said at the time he was crap and would never amount to anything in the pro game, and I think Ive been proved right. Nowhere today!

that was so tense, garcia lost it, a decent round and it was his title, then harrington seemed to throw it away at the end, only to come back in the play off, well done paddy
