One unders

Thanks everybody, I'm feeling a hell of a lot better.

But I'll be glad when the coroner's court is over and done with next Wednesday.

Over and done with now. Coroner's court was a huge relief.

I found out that he was 33 not 23.

That his parents arrived in the UK from Sweden just a few hours after he killed himself because they were so concerned about his state of mind following a telephone conservation.

That he was wearing a blue and white striped top.

That there was no way to have avoided hitting him.

That cctv pictures both inside and outside tube stations gave such incredible detail that they make CSI Miami look like amateurs.

I'd glad it went as well as could be expected :)

you couldn't have done anything to avoid it. it's good that you know this for sure now.

his poor parents though, how sad.

Glad you've got the Coroner's Court business out of the way, Oxpecker.

A horrible thing to have to deal with, but it wasn't your fault and nothing you could have done would have prevented it. All the best to you in getting over it.

:)

A friends father had two jumpers in front of his BR suburban train within a year & got retired on full pension (this was in the 1980's & on BR), is this still the same..??

Sorry to read all this oxpecker - I really feel for you. Hope now the coroner's court is out the way, you can put it behind you

I've just seen this.

Of course you'll never forget this incident but hopefully you'll manage to put get on with your life as normal.

Best wishes.

Sorry, Oxpecker. A horrible, horrible thing to come your way. Not much to add except my sympathies for you & all involved.

I know it's not my fault (thanks callie) but still, it's a fucking nightmare. Up until today it was something I was a ble to put behind me as just "one of those things" tube drivers deal with - but now I know his name etc. it's well, a fucking nightmare.

(((((Oxpecker)))))

Can't be helped, jumping in front of a train is the same as of a building or whatever, certainly not the rivers fault. The laws of physics determine that the tran CANT POSSIBLY stop.

Still, selfish fucker not thinking about you.....he should have waitied on the DLR for one without a driver.....
