The Rentals - Lost in Alphaville
    Lee Scratch Perry - Arkology

Working at home is a lot better when listening to almost four hours of dub.

Arrows of love ~ product. Good tunes let down by trite lyrics.

Babybird - Between My Ears There's Nothing But Music

If I ever do anything remarkable enough to warrant a biopic, I want Stephen Jones to write the soundtrack. It's so sad that most people only know that song.

Particularly good when my cat is sat next to me, looking simultaneously pretty and vacant.

Mainly listening to the 5th Piano Concerto last couple of days. Also have Brendl with the LPO, but enjoying the Kempff at the moment.

    Mogwai - Every's Country's Sun
    Orbital - Orbital (Brown Album)

I already had the debut, but I picked up a box set of their first five LPs for £15 today. Excellent stuff on the first listen.

The Mogwai album was as good as you would expect on the first listen, although be warned, there is a vocal track.

I don't mind the vocal tracks.

Anyway my copy finally arrived today. It's probably not going to win over any converts but it's another good album.
