Father John Misty - Pure Comedy

Pretty weak, an annoying twat he might be but I Love You, Honeybear, had something at least this is just boring.

    - William Basinski - A Shadow in Time

Very, very good. Particularly the first piece.

    - Mick Harvey - Intoxicated Women

Fourth, and supposedly final, collection of Harvey's covers of Gainsbourg songs. As with the other three some songs work better than others but general quality is pretty high. I still think Four Acts of Love is Harvey's best solo album but this is enjoyable.

    - Terry Allen - Lubbock (On Everything)

    Kingsbury manx - Pageant Square
    Icelandic symphony orchestra - Recurrence
Priests - Nothing feels natural. Good tunes, feels weird though hearing DC punks sing a refrain of "it feels good to buy something you can't afford."

are you into Horselords flypanam? I realised yesterday that a substantial amount of my favourite music of the last few years has loads of repetitive sax shit going on...

Never heard of Horselords, will check them out. I too have been listening to quite a bit of sax stuff. One thing I keep going back to is an album called Sax tapes SAX TAPE, by SAX TAPE

Only listened to it once last night, and it's good it a return to the kind of stuff he was doing with the NHW trilogy.
