The Rezillos - Can't Stand the Rezillos
Autechre - Draft 7.30
Arcade Fire - The Suburbs; wrote this off as rubbish when it was first released, but listening to again that was a bit harsh, clearly worse than their first two and too long and there's some dreck on it but it's also got it's moments
Laura Marling - Semper Femina; pretty weak
Jumpin' with Stagger Lee #20 - usual top mix from a former U75 poster, the Coco Hames track is great, going to have to check the album out
Nina Nastasia - Outlaster; not my favourite of hers but still good, anyone know what happened to her? AFAIK she's not released anything since this and that was 7 years ago.
Ludacris - Ludaversal
Burning Babylon - Garden of Dub
Went to see her at the weekend, she was pretty dull. Everyone else there really loved her though.
She was so posh too. I had no idea.
I'm listening to Nancy Elizabeth, who might appeal if you're still in that kind of mood redsquirrel
My brother saw her last week too, again really liked her. Just don't get it, especially now, while I wasn't blown away by the the early LPs they had their moments, but the last few have just been as dull as ditchwater.
Cheers for the recommendation I'l check her out.
I was thinking about her today and her flitting from folk songstrel to LA yoga instructor and back again when Osborne's new career change was announced. Both kids of baronets... the world a playground for both of 'em. You can choose to be a politician, or a pop star, or a newspaper editor, or run away to LA and become a yoga instructor, you just have to believe.
Really? Have you never heard her before? Her cut glass singing voice?
I think the new albums a cracker, not her best but it'll be one of the two or three best folk albums this year. And she delivered an excellent show in Leeds last week, in turns fresh, wry, sultry and damned goo fun.
Blanck Mass - World Eater
you probably need to listen to more folk music.
I've got Nico's Drama of Exile (the re-recorded version) on now. Great stuff.
Nico / The Faction - Camera Obscura
Her 80s output (such as there is) appears to be all red hot.
Twatss album launch
Trigger Warning and the Safer Sapces
including "M.R.A speed dating disaster" and "Oppression olympics"
Hüsker Dü - Zen Arcade
Those who walk away - The infected mass
Avec le soleil sortant de sa bouche - Pas pire pop, I love you so much
Blanck Mass - World Eater
This is even better on the second listen.
Beth Gibbons and Rustin' Man - Out of Season

Elliott Smith Either/Or expanded edition and Smaller Badly,Badly (Brit pop band from Liverpool...Digsy of Digsy's Dinner fame is the vocalist (and also conduit for Lee Mavers when ever he can be arsed)).
Seefeel - Seefeel
I wish I could find their debut. It's on a considerable list of records I seem to have been looking for for years.
Just came across this Bombay the Hard Way: Guns, Cars and Sitars - Wikipedia
Produced by Dan The Automator (Dr Octagon fame)
Bombay the Hard Way: Guns, Cars and Sitars is a 1998 project of producer Dan the Automator in which music from 1970s funk Bollywood composer duo Kalyanji-Anandji (Kalyanji Virji Shah and Anandji Virji Shah) was taken and given a funky remix. The album was eventually withdrawn (possibly due to copyright concerns). A sequel, Bombay 2: Electric Vindaloo, was also produced.
Cool daytime at home music....70s bollywood soundtrack with a hiphop beat...works for me
despite being deleted Its up on youtube, for a bit anyway, as its on a Topic channel
Some of the music has barely been touched as the originals are already funky enough!
Dan's a really interesting character...am on the explore
Fucked up - Year of the snake
Yamataka//Sonic Titan - YT//ST
High plains - Cinderland. I like this a lot.
The Cure - The Head on the Door
Undoubtedly, I only tend to listen to artists I know, or those on at festivals I'm considering. Not enough. That said, i think I think about the Nacy Elizabeth the same way you feel about LM
Moonlandingz - Interplanetary Class Classics Really quite magnificent
Jesus & Mary Chain - Damage & Joy Really quite patchy
Mouse on Mars - Autoditacker
Not worth getting?
Lydia Loveless - Somewhere Else
