And the sound of vinyl is better - it hasn't been put through ADC and DACs that leave it with tiny little square wave edges on it.

Yeah, right, and I could really get (fx: `locate -i mp3 | wc`) 5000 tracks worth of vinyl in my laptop at no extra weight...

Oddly, I'm actually a luddite - I pretty much skipped CDs entirely, 'cos they were crap for anything apart from filling with mp3 - and I still have a lot of vinyl wrapped in plastic in a shed somewhere in North London...
