also, pound coins have a pleasing shape and weight and solidity. Like pirate treasure.

you can't have two heads! that's against all the rules of coins in the whole world ever! probably.
Hence my previous post...I can't tell from the photos if it has flat edges or if it's a curve of constant width (madness if it's not). It has to be the same diameter as the existing coin, or all the vending machines and shopping trolleys will need updating.
