Old Stuff (60s) - your favourites

I was a tad too young in the 60s to have developed much of a taste in music. Though I bought "She Loves You" when it first came out as a single, the first record I ever bought. Not a big fan of the Beatles these days, I've heard the stuff they were ripping off.

Looking at my own repertoire I guess the repeat offenders are Sam Cooke, Chuck Berry, The Animals and The Rolling Stones.
 
I grew up surrounded by music of all kinds and my mum used to spend a proportion of the housekeeping on singles, plus she ran a boarding house that was mainly students and young teachers so I got to hear all their music too. Anyway, I find as I get older I can remember the sixties far more clearly than last week.....
