How would you answer this? I think it's safe to say a whole load of new music is just an adequate approximation of what went before, perhaps with an insignificant twist. Dance music is probably the most conservative form around. The best I heard was still a Hardcore Winter Vol 4 tape I had over a decade ago. I wish to hell I could remember who was on it.
