Theres plenty precedent - Cardiff, Swansea, Wrexham, Newport in the English League, Berwick in the Scottish and Derry City in the LOI. Better than having an SPL, just let all the teams in the top two Divisions enter the Football League

Alternatively you could have two leagues playing alongside one another in Scotland. One would be the proper league, the other would consist solely of Pinky and Perky.

They'd win both leagues and bothe would get into Europe as well. rangers fans would have particular fun finding out where Institute is and whether they were catholics of prods.

Seriously though, I'm well against either of those two wooly mammoths joining the Premiership.
