Oh no!

Big heid kitties are cute though :) It probably just means he's going to be massive when he grows up.

My boycat had the biggest pair of ears I've ever seen when I got him as a kitten, a strong gust of wind would have kited him off over Tesco :D As it turned out, they were an indicator of how big the rest of him would grow up to be.

Tbh I would keep him in until he's had the snip, which I think is at about 6 months? That's when I got mine done anyway. I was always super cautious with my cats and kept them in for a month whenever we moved, even though they're lazy bastards who rarely venture beyond the back gate. But there's no set way, just have a read around the subject and decide what you think is best :)

yep, theres lots of reading to be done!
hes already had the snip which is a bit early as hes only 10 weeks but the vet wouldn't let him go unless he had because they didn't want any other unwanted litters. he was rescued by them and was riddled with worms and cat flu and i think at least one of the other kittens rescued died :( suppose they just wanted to be extra cautious
i was a bit pissed off with the vets actually because when i went to pick him up, having visited with my son and told him that he was coming to live with us they told me that he has a heart murmur. its not very bad but they hadn't told me before and they really should have.
apparently its quite common and as long as he doesn't get fat it shouldn't be too much of a problem and seen as we had decided we wanted him I didn't think it was fair to change my mind because of this and I also felt a bit sorry for him as hes not had the best start.
they should have told me sooner though as I was in regular contact and they had ample opportunity to

Good grief.

That IS a large head :)

Bless.

Meantimes - fewer posts without pics, please :(

NEED MORE KITTY PICS :)

e2a: I've changed my mind.

He aren't got a big head :) Got a teeny weeny kitteh body :)

We need a picture of his paws in relation to the rest of his body :D

Well go back to page 2 and look at post 35 :p
Looks like normal kitten sized paws and head to me. Possibly needing a wee bit of feeding up but most kittens do.

What sort of mythology you thinking of SBL?? Norse, greek, roman, asian?
I'd be tempted to go with Norse/scandanavian with him having the ginger :D

I had a cat who had a heart murmur - she lived to be 14 and a bit.

Kitten is gorgeous, whatever you decide to call him!

oryx, that is reassuring did your cat have any related problems during its life?

So can you roll your R's like scots do? If so how about Russ, but you pronounce it like Bruce without the B. That's red in an old language I think, it was how Russia got it's name.

Or Culain , pronounced Koolin.

I also like the name Bob, for a cat.

you asked for paws, i give you paws

Aaaaaawwwww. How lovely.

WANT!

Actually, what I really want is my hairdresser's cat, who is very similar to our fluffy black and white cat Hendrix, but without the white. When I went round yesterday, he climbed straight onto my lap and purred while my hair was being cut.
