Oh no!

I always think papingo is a good name for a cat. :) And a touching testament to your love for me.....

Tuna might be a bit rich, but a tiny little bit might not hurt. Don't want to get him addicted though, it hasn't got any taurine in it, which is essential for cats.

And apparently you have to be careful to give them the kind in spring water, not brine, as the salt damages them!

We were wondering why the posh tiny tins of cat food (checked ingredients 99% tuna) were ££££ whilst the big cans in the local shop are cheap and moaned about it to a friend who gave us this info.

Happily the local shop also do the spring water version - which is also cheap.

i will be doing a poll for name, with pictures but we need to think of a few first
in them meantime

Mrs Quoad has a lovely ring too, don'tcha think? :)

Could be called 'Mrs Papingo Quoad' or summat :)

he likes chasing ties.
he slept on top of me last night, licking my hand and purring like a purry thing. hes always purring actually sound like a little engine prowling around.
still hasnt used the litter try though, when do i start to worry? i havent seen or smelled him doing it anywhere else and he has been eating and drinking. what do i do?
i've introduced him to the litter tray and put him on there quite a few times but i'm not sure its sinking in.

he has returned. feel a bit silly now :o :D he was gone for over an hour and a half though, surely that warrants a bit of a panic? :D
he came out when he smelled my almond croissants, hes not interested in the food i have for him so i might try him on some tuna of hes not too young. hasnt used the litter try either. he's just been playing a lot

:D

They can hide in the smallest of places. You'll have a few more panic sessions before you get used to him disappearing ;)

Just keep sticking him in there. He'll get the hang of it eventually

BTW: He's gorgeous

My little fecker, obtained shortly before Xmas, spent the first week hiding and generally being uber-shy. Now we can't get rid of him! :D He wants to be either sitting on one of us, going mental, or eating at all times. Its great fun altogether.:D

Oh and he has tripled in size at least! Maybe because he eats anything and everything, including green beans and pizza. :D

Edited to add - he's sooo cute! :D

Although I believe you when you say he hasn't used his tray, I don't believe he hasn't found 'somewhere'. ;)

Names, let me think, he looks like a white cat that's crawled under a newly-creosted fence - Creosote !

ok then maybe not

Mine are all growed up now and they still do that to me... life for my 2 is just one big game of hide and seek.

he had a poo at around ten o'clock this morning was very pleased, i stayed to watch even though it made me late for a previous engagement :D
am very glad the covered litter tray arrived this evening because man that poo stank! it was enormous as well

had a lovely afternoon playing with him and now shiftyjunior is not so scared of him and spent lots of time playing with him and even stroking him, albeit extremely carefully

I would possibly call him Splodge. I'm guessing male coz of the ginger. Very few ginger cats are females iirc.

Btw, my(18yr old) son wants to come and steal him :D

:D He's beautiful and George is a lovely name. I remember the anxious wait for the first poo when I first got my cats - it seemed to take them ages to get around to it!

i was intent on calling him monty but i dont know george is good too.
better than mitty which is what shiftyjunior wants to call him. mitty, litty, kitty......

Hercules, Zeus, Apollo, Perseus, Troy

erm, I know bugger all about mythology - sorry :o

He's got a big heid!

If you're not doing it already, it's probably a good idea to keep him in for at least a few weeks, let him get used to the house before you introduce him to the wider world...hopefully this should mean he doesn't run off and get lost outside. It's all a bit much for new kitties, however big their heids.
