And this matters? We live in a world of James Blunt and Chris Martin, two of the worst sets of vocal chords to ever vibrate on this planet, and they bizarrely sell millions.

I don't think the Spice Girls' manifesto was ever to be great singers. What they were were great performers (except Victoria). They carried that whole cartoon-esque imagery off like few others have ever done, and their emergence perhaps paved the way for the subsequent success of other girl bands, most obviously All Saints, Sugababes and Girls Aloud, but also the UK-selling of TLC and Destiny's Child. The Spice team, that is the Girls and their managers and writers, worked the press to perfection.

I'm all for the gigs, but one area they shouldn't follow Take That is in releasing new stuff. TT's new songs are so so poor compared to their classics.

I'm a little bit excited about this, even though 10 years ago I really didn't like their music or what they represented at all.

I am quite excited because I would like to take my 4 yo to see them. Although I dont/didnt like their look, their music is fun and catchy and totally great for lickle kiddies.

I saw a comedian on the telly once who did a joke about them saying that they were more harmfull post their split because they were like some sort of crap nailbomb going out in all sorts of random directions. At least you knew where they were when they were all together

Mel B's were always fairly big, I seem to remember, although smaller than Geri's. Emma's were probably third and Mel C and Victoria were fairly flat chested.
