I've with May on it. I think it's nasty and dull, dull, dull. Like soap operas, I have no interest in sitting and watching a bunch of people screwing up through their complete lack of emotional intelligence, it's just infuriating and upsetting, not enjoyable.

Plus I think it's a really bad thing that so many young kids watch it, and they watch it because they think it will teach them how adults behave. No wonder so many kids think life is all about anger and negativity if they spend a lot of time watching BB and its ilk.

Yep. I think it (along with various other 'backstab-and-bitch-your-way-to-success' programmes) is helping to foster a sort of society we really don't need.

I'll have you know last year's avoidathon had a 100% success rate. Besides, I'll be spending my summer sitting in the garden reading baby books or lying on the sofa watching Buffy DVDs, there simply isn't time in such a packed schedule for BB

I hate everything about it with a fiery passion: the shitty theme music; the endless SHOUTING; Davina ; the billions of fucking spin-off shows that add layer upon layer of vacuity to the already meaningless drivel streamed across our screens 22 hours a day; the fact that it replaces even the few vaguely watchable shows on C4; the way people will fucking talk about it all day and then go home and watch it all night.

Thankfully I no longer work at the hospital, where my 30-odd workmates did nothing but yak about it all day every day, but even so it still manages to intrude into my life to a degree that I find unacceptable. I wish C4 would kill the fucker off and expend a few brain cells thinking up some new ideas (as long as those ideas weren't of the Rudetube/Friday Night Project variety ).

i knwo what you mean, the past few years i haven't found anyone likeable enough to want them to win, i still find the show entertaining and there's always some good comedy moments but I wish they'd have more everyday, intelligent, likeable characters.
